So I decided to try this Shot Blocks. They taste amazing almost like gummy bears but better. I don't know if they necessarily make me feel like I have more energy though.

Black Friday: Forever 21 and Gap


I ran a 10 mile race yesterday morning so I was tired last night. I decided I would wake up around 6 AM to check out the black friday sales. I've never gone out shopping that early before! The only store in the mall that was busy with a long line was HandM. They had some good sales like $10 pencil skirts, $5 shirts, $15 dresses but the line was too long for me so I left. I went in Forever21 where they had a buy one get one free sale going on. I ended up buying a lot of shirts and dresses.

The first thing I bought was this bright pink, one strapped summery dress. It was $10.99 and the most expensive thing I bought that was included in the buy one get one free sale.
 I got this black plain one strapped dress that would look cute with a little jacket and some boots. The price for this was $5.99


I could always use white tanktops, so when I saw that this one was $2.99 and ended up being free I was excited!

I also got this shirt that was on sale for $3.99 but ended up being free!


I also got this fleece sweatshirt. I have been looking for a inexpensive cheap jacket for a while now and this one was 30% off the original price which was only $15.99.

I then went in gap and found a workout tanktop in bright green! It was 60% off and ended up being 7 dollars and change!

Clamp-less Curling Iron!

Hey Everyone,
Sorry it's been so long since I have written a blog post. It's hard to write them with school and everything going on right now! I enjoy making youtube videos more but I need more ideas on what to make them on. Let me know what you guys would like to see. Any ways, a few days ago, I was walking around Target and spotted something I have been wanting for a while now. A clamp-less curling iron. This curling iron was on display on the end. It is a Remington Limited edition curling iron. I am guessing it was made for the holiday season. It was $19.99 which is cheaper than any other curling iron like this I have seen. I decided to give it a try. I curled my hair today for class and I love it. The curls look very natural and they lasted all day which is suprising for my hair(its so hard to curl). I would recommend this curling iron for yourself or your friend for a gift! It's great for the price! I just hope it lasts long!

I woke up with lots of energy today! It was chilly outside so that may have had something to do with this energy but my run was at a much quicker pace than normal. Fall Foods

Last night I had a dream about Eggnog. I can't remember any details about my dream...all I know is when I woke up I was thinking about Eggnog and I really wanted some. I headed to Publix hoping that my dream meant that they are selling it now. I go to the milk section and there it is!!! Pumpkin Spice Eggnog and regular Eggnog. Regular Eggnog is my favorite but since Eggnog is now going to be out until Christmas I decided to get Pumpkin Spice Eggnog for fall.


I know Eggnog is not very good for you in any way. My plans are to just to have this bottle and then don't buy anymore until the week before christmas!

Dorm Organizing






The key to dorm organizing is utilizing your space. Here is a picture of one side of my dorm. As you can see if you can hang stuff off of furniture or neatly place your shoes on top of furniture space can be saved. You can also almost make your shoes set up like a store on top of your dresser if you neatly organize them. A behind the door hook is a great idea for purses, hats and book bags. Also hooks for hanging up towels is a good idea.

This is a shoe rack I found at Target for under $4 dollars. It fits perfectly right by my door or you can even put it under you bed. 

I would also recommend a hook right by your door. As soon as you walk in you can place your keys on the hook. Just in case you have to leave in a hurry, you will always know where your keys are located.

 Here is just a close up picture of the behind the door hook. I also got this hook in Target from the Dollar section. You can see how many bags and hats it holds!

Chipotle!

I have work later on tonight and decided to have an early dinner. I've been craving Chipotle all weekend, so I got myself a Chicken Burrito Bowl with the tortilla on the side!


I was feeling a little tired and sick before I ate this. About a half hour after eating this I feel great! A Chipotle Bowl keeps the doctor away! :D

Training and Breakfast!

I am onto my second week of half marathon training. So far so good! This morning I ran 3 miles and then did my 50 Burpees. I don't think I am going to post a youtube video of all 50 days though. The videos just seem to boring. Tell me what you think of the videos. Other than that my training has been great! I've even just been craving healthy foods. Here is what I had for breakfast:



I also made the Vanilla Nut coffee today and used the Silk French Vanilla Creamer! It was delicious! Breakfast was very good today! For lunch I also had blackened salmon on a salad. I am excited for my training tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow! Wish me luck!

Found this tribal pattern wallet at Target on sale for a very inexpensive price! I love the bright colors! It looks very summery! Not so good for fall but I can wait until next summer to use this wallet.

Lazy Sunday

Today was a relaxing, me day. Tomorrow is back to reality with school and work. I've been on fall break all week long. As far as my day goes.... I woke up, I brushed my teeth, changed and went to Starbucks Coffee. About a month ago, I bought the Starbucks Brand coffee that you make at home and after that is used you can bring the bag in for a free Tall Coffee. I then walked to my normal Slacklining spot and set up for about an hour. I decided to do my 50 Burpee challenge out side today.


My legs really had no energy today but I was doing my best. After this I decided that will be my cross-training workout for the day.

I then left to go get a pedicure. My feet have been bad  terrible, from running so much. I had dry skin and blisters all around my toes. I was in need of a pedicure. I was going to go for a fall color. I had a nice deep tan in my hand until I saw a super sparkly OPI color. It was apparently a Miss America color and that is what I decided to get on my toes.



After I got my toes done, I went to Target today to buy a few things. I always look around at the clothes just to see if they have any great sales. Today I bought a few Christmas presents for people for great deals. I shop earlier than anyone else I know! I love the Holidays and love buying presents for people. I've been waiting for Eggnog to be in Publix for about a week now and so far no luck. :-( I did find this Holiday flavored coffee in Target today on sale.



 I am usually not a fan of flavored coffee but since I'm in the Holiday mood already I had to buy it! I will let you know what I think of it.

I think this is officially the longest and most detailed blog post I have ever written! I feel like If I had more chill days I would be able to post more like these! If you would prefer blog posts like this one, let me know!

Beautiful Weather!

Today was perfect for a run! The sun was shining, the humidity was low and the temperature was about 70 degrees. I ran 6.8 miles today in 60 minutes and 10 seconds. I am on the last day of week 1 of my half marathon training schedule and my legs are hurting just a tad. This week not only did I start my half marathon training but I also decided to start the 50 day Burpee challenge. This challenge makes me push my legs just a little bit farther after my run so I can do the 50 burpees! Tomorrow I have a rest or cross-train day and I will end up either going in the gym on the bicycle or slacklining. I am in need of some yoga so I might do a tara stiles yoga video off of youtube. My legs feel tight! Here is Day 3 of my 50 Burpees:

Half Marathon and 50 Burpees for 50 Days!

Yesterday I decided that I needed to find some sort of race so I have motivation to train. I thought a half marathon would be a great next step for me. I am going to do a race either in December, January or Feb. I am still trying to decide which half marathon would be best for me. The one in Decemeber is the OUC half marathon in Orlando. Then the Disney half marathon is in January and the FIT Half marathon is in Feb on the beach. I'm not sure about my first half marathon being on the beach just beacause the sand will make it hard to run. If you have done any half marathons let me know which is your favorite! I got this schedule from Self Magazine. Today I completed my Thursday workout for week 1. I ran 3 miles up and down hills and then just headed home on flat ground for the last mile. It started raining during my run but other than that, it was a great run!

On Twitter I also saw a user named @sweatybetties who put out a challenge to do 50 burpees for 50 days. You can break it up into sets if you need to but as long as you do 50 over the course of the day you are good! This morning after my run I did my first 50! :-) I am going to try to make a video every day for my 50 burpees. Here is Day 1:

Slackline Club?

So I follow a few slackline blogs and one that I read this morning really insprired me. The blog said that he went to a small christian school and he started a slackline club at his college. He got on the front page of the newspaper and everyone at the school is loving slacklining.

This is something I would love to do at my college. When I've asked in the past if I could slackline on campus the anwser is no. I don't think they would let me start a slackline club then right? I guess I could give it a try. If you have any advice with this let me know.

I went in Sports Authority a few weeks ago looking for running sneakers. The things you find when you are looking for something else is amazing! Sports Authority has a lot on sale. They have clothing and shoes on sale. I ended up not getting sneakers but instead I got spandex shorts to wear under my shorts when I run.




I did not need another pair of spandex but the pattern and price was to hard to resist! I live in Florida, of course I need spandex with Orange slices all over them! :-)

Fashion Friday: Hollister Jeans

Yesterday, I used the coupon I got from Hollister a couple weeks ago. I ended up buying Jeans. They were on sale for 50% off and then the coupon was for an additional 25% off. I got these jeans for 19 dollars and change.



I have also been eating not so healthy these past couple weeks. My goal is to start eating all natural foods again. Only things that grow in the earth and are not processed! I have more energy and just feel better when I eat healthier. I also need to limit my coffee intake. I'm up to having about 2-3 cups of coffee twice a day! I also want to start doing gymnastics inspired workouts. These workouts require mostly no equipment and they are very effective to get you in very good shape. When I was a gymnast I was in the best shape of my life! I will try to be posting my workouts regularly and also more of my healthy foods that I am eating!

Cool Fitness App: Endomondo

Smart phones are great to track runs. It tells you how far you have gone and how many calories you burned. I have tried various different workout tracker apps to keep track of my runs. Some of these include Run Keeper Free and Trainer Lite. A lot of times they lose GPS reception and I don't know why. So far Endomondo is my favorite. It does not lose reception and it was easy to sign up. All I did was put my email and made a password and after my run Endomondo automatically uploaded my time to its website. This app told me how many calories I burned. It also has a heart rate monitor, although my phone does not have this feature. One of the coolest things that this App has that sets it apart from the rest is a section where you are able to chose what kind of workout you want. Your options include: Basic-just track your workout, manual entry-enter a workout manually, Set a goal-Choose distance, time or calories, Beat a friend- go against a friend's personal best, compete on route- download a route, beat the champion, or Beat yourself- go against a previous workout.

Favorite Finds: Hollister Co.

Hey Everyone,
Sorry I have been slacking on the blogging this past week. It's hard to blog 3 times a week and do school work and everything I have to do. I found some cute items from Hollister Co. In the past Hollister clothing did not fit me. I feel like they gear their clothing towards skinny, stick straight people. People with no curves at all and this is not me. Even though I knew this I decided to go into the store because their was a lot of sales going on. I ended up finding some shorts and a tank top.




I love these shorts! They actually fit me great and are really comfortable. They feel like jeggings because they are super stretchy and soft denium material.


I also got this basic tank top that would look great layered with another shirt or sweater over it.

Fashion Friday: Plato's Closet Labor Day Sale!

I decided to go to Plato's Closet on the Saturday before Labor Day. They were having a 50 % off sale on shirts, tank tops, and dresses. I sold about 30 dollars of my old clothes to Plato's Closet. The clothing below ended up being about 7 dollars all together.

This shirt is from Forever 21. I have trouble finding long sleeve shirts that fit my arms without being to tight. This one has a little stretch to it so it was perfect.



This cardigan is from The Limited. It is a nice basic to have in my closet.


This dress is from Forever 21. It is form fitting at the top with a cut out back and has a bubble shape at the bottom.

This dress is from Express. I wore it to class yesterday. It was very comfortable. I took the pin off when I wore it to class. This is a dress that you can dress up or dress down.

This summery dress is from Forever 21. It is a little short but it would be fine to just be walking around the mall.
